How You Can Make a Difference:
UNFPA is the leading UN agency dedicated to ensuring that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through its Strategic Plan (2022-2025), UNFPA reaffirms its commitment to transformative goals that focus on three key areas: eliminating preventable maternal deaths, addressing the unmet need for family planning, and eradicating gender-based violence and harmful practices. These goals align with the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving progress in the Decade of Action towards 2030.
The Strategic Plan emphasizes the need for collective action to “build forward better,” focusing on the negative impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive health. This initiative aims to recover lost progress and achieve the global goals set out in the ICPD and SDGs.
In a world where human rights are increasingly under threat, we need principled, ethical professionals who uphold international standards and values, defending them with conviction and courage.
UNFPA seeks candidates who are passionate about transforming communities, inspiring change, and delivering impactful, sustainable results. We require individuals who are transparent, exceptional in resource management, and committed to achieving excellence in program outcomes.
