Junior Customs Clearance Officer
For a Multinational in the Maritime Transportation and Transit Industry

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Customs Clearance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Assist with the clearance of goods through customs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Play a vital role in ensuring smooth international logistics operations.

Required Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- A/L BACC +2 years in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields (commerce, international relations, business school degrees, or equivalents preferred).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
The ideal candidate will be skilled in:
- Liaising with customs officials and other relevant authorities.
- Tracking shipments to ensure timely clearance.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Mastering import/export procedures, trade regulations, and having a basic understanding of customs processes.
- Using relevant software (e.g., customs clearance software) effectively.
- Fluency in English and French (an asset).
