Job Title: Performance Management Officer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor the bank’s strategic plan to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments are met, under the supervision of the Team Lead, Performance Management.
- Develop and implement revenue growth strategies in alignment with performance management objectives.
- Design and implement a structured performance evaluation framework to assess and improve staff performance.
- Analyze staff performance data to identify deviations from strategic goals and present findings to the Head of Human Capital Management.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring compliance with clearly defined policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing appraisal review meetings and track the implementation of performance review recommendations.
- Conduct industry research and benchmarking on staff performance to enhance internal evaluation standards.
Key Knowledge Areas
- Strong understanding of UBA’s organizational structure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of performance management frameworks, policies, processes, and career development strategies.
- Familiarity with the Vision platform and other performance evaluation tools.

- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in IT applications for data analysis and performance reporting.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and numerical accuracy.
- Effective workload management and reporting capabilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Response time in addressing grievances related to performance appraisals.
- Variance between planned and actual timelines for the Performance Appraisal Process.
- Timeliness of periodic appraisal report submissions.
Educational & Professional Requirements
- Minimum: First degree in any Social Science discipline.
- Preferred: Professional certification in Accounting/Finance.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in performance management, financial analysis, or human capital management.
