Job Description
REGARTLESS is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to join his team. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing RGL programs and projects. Key responsibilities include preparing project proposals, coordinating logistics, monitoring activities, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders to successfully achieve program objectives.
REGARTLESS is an arts and culture organization, as well as an activist movement, committed to safeguarding, promoting, and preserving cultural heritage and diverse forms of artistic expression. Established in Bamenda at the height of the armed conflict, our mission is rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – Agenda 2030 and the African Union Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want.

The successful candidate will report directly to the President. This is a full-time position based in Yaoundé or Bamenda.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination
- Design and develop programs and projects, including proposals to secure funding and other resources.
- Create comprehensive work plans, timelines, and budgets to guide program delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of program activities, ensuring timely delivery within budgetary limits.
- Coordinate the organization of meetings, workshops, and events linked to program implementation.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, expenditures, and deliverables.
- Prepare high-quality documentation, including reports, proposals, and communication materials.
- Draft regular updates and correspondence for partners, donors, and other stakeholders.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Track progress against established milestones, timelines, and performance indicators.
- Support the collection, organization, and analysis of data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
- Identify potential risks, challenges, or delays and promptly report them to the President.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate new partnerships and sustain existing relationships with key actors in the sector.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of partners, donors, vendors, and other relevant contacts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and communications.
- Liaise with partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure the effective delivery of program requirements.
- Facilitate efficient and transparent communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Cultural Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in program coordination and proposal writing, preferably within the cultural or non-profit sector.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and well-structured content.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Good understanding of Cameroon’s cultural sector and key stakeholders.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is an asset.
