ECOBANK Cameroon S.A. is seeking a qualified Relationship Manager, Classic, available to operate across the national territory.

II. ROLE SUMMARY
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and driving customer engagement to ensure retention and growth. This role focuses on increasing product sales, attracting new clients, and managing loan portfolios in line with set performance objectives.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet personal targets in the following areas:

Growth of deposit base

Revenue generation
-
Cross-selling of banking products
-
Acquisition of new customers
-
Promotion and sales of digital solutions (e.g., Ecobank Mobile App, Ecobank Online)

Effective loan portfolio management
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Financial Performance
-
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by proactively identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions.
-
Drive portfolio growth through direct sales of banking products and services.
-
Ensure timely and accurate execution of client instructions, in collaboration with relevant departments.
-
Acquire a solid understanding of Classic Banking’s full suite of offerings.
Customer Service Excellence
-
Respond efficiently to routine client inquiries and support issue resolution to ensure client satisfaction.
Leadership and Team Contribution
-
Monitor and report weekly on individual portfolio performance.
-
Collaborate effectively as a contributing team member.
Operational and Process Compliance
-
Adhere strictly to internal risk and compliance protocols, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering standards.

Maintain non-performing loan (NPL) ratios below 3%.
Strategic Contribution
-
Lead and support initiatives aimed at driving business growth and enhancing market presence.
IV. REPORTING LINE
Reports directly to the Head of Direct Banking.
V. CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience and Education
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in banking, sales, or marketing—experience in FMCG is a plus.

Strong understanding of banking products, customer service, and operational processes.

Proven track record in portfolio and people development.
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or related fields.

Proficiency in both English and French is required.
