To support his continued growth, BIA is currently seeking a qualified Technician to join his team in Cameroon.
Role Summary
As a Technician, you will perform technical interventions on various types of equipment and systems within your scope of responsibility. Your role will ensure optimal customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in line with BIA’s maintenance contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair field equipment following OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and workshop manuals.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Follow maintenance plans, meet reporting requirements, and represent BIA’s values and commitment to excellence on-site.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure safe working conditions for yourself, colleagues, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols to protect equipment, data, and the environment.
- Comply with BIA’s HSE policies and report any health, safety, or environmental issues promptly.
- Actively participate in HSE training and awareness programs as required.
- Exercise your right to stop work in case of serious danger and seek assistance when facing safety concerns.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Act with integrity, responsibility, and professionalism at all times.
Profile – What We Are Looking For
- Technical bachelor’s degree in mechanics or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in heavy equipment or industrial sectors.
- Solid knowledge of construction (BTP) equipment.
- Proficiency with genset systems.
- Good understanding of industrial electricity.
