Yara Cameroon was established in 1995 to strengthen the quality and depth of input supply and related services along agricultural value chains to increase the productivitiy of Cameroonians farmers

Yara Cameroon is looking for a maintenance contractor to join it’s dynamic team. The position will be baded in Douala and will report to the operations manager

Responsibilities

• Organize maintenance activities from planning to execution for the site to achieve the plant availability, performance, and quality goals in line with the maintenance plan
• Support in the implementation of preventive maintenance program, best practice development and maintenance process and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Roll-out and comply to asset care BP 801. Ensure that continuous improvement activities are executed in the plant.
• Support on analyzing and follow-up all maintenance projects to ensure high quality standard of the project
• Collect maintenance date, improve, and follow-up maintenance KPI
• Ensure adherence to the company’s HOPS, TOPS requirements in area of control
• Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established produres
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit, blueprint, diagrams, and schematics

Profile

• Experience in a chemical/FMCG productio environnement
• 2 years professional experience
• Understanding and knowledge of HESQ and related regulatory requirements
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Experience with a CMMS is an advantage
• Demonstrate undrstanding of risk assessment and permit to work system
• Demonstrate understanding of lean principles, continuous improvement, preventive maintenance and problem solving
• IT skills – Ms office
• Engineering degree in a mechanical field or electromechanic
