Job Summary

  • Assist the Security Manager in Organizing and coordinating the activities of Security.
  • Ensure the protocol during the arriving and the departure of DCC Staff and gusts.
  • Key Duties and Responsibilities Security · Insure the Control of the effective presence of security agents at their posts. · Insure the discipline and daily follow-up of security agents. · Assist supervisors in view to strengthening their authority over security agent in the application of instructions to be observed · Insure the interface for any security problem between our partners both in the enclosure and outside the factory (fights, thefts, etc.); · Insure the sanitation of the factory areas (ban on the sale of adulterated fuel and narcotics, improvised garages in the parking lot outside the factory and long-term abandonment of trucks, etc.); · Write the reports and minutes of meetings to the address of the hierarchy · Represent the Security Manager at meetings when not available Protocol · Ensure the reception and departure of certain DCC Staff and guests at the Airport. · Perform any other duties as assigned by the Security Manager. ·

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
  • Professional qualification in Safety.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in Security domain.

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding of DCC’s business operations.
  • A clear understanding of DCC’s Safety policies and procedures, including the group’s overall performance management objectives and strategies.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in career management processes and techniques.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of firefighting.
  • Strong ability to utilize computer systems and performance management applications.
  • Ability to effectively apply scheduling techniques to own work.
  • Basic knowledge of record management systems (manual and automated).
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office applications.
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good communication skills.
