Who is Eligible for the King Scholars Program?
The King Scholars Program is designed for low-income students from developing countries. These students must demonstrate a strong commitment to addressing poverty issues in their home countries and be willing to engage long-term in this mission. The program seeks motivated young individuals with high academic potential and a determined desire to contribute to significant social change.
Benefits of the King Scholars Scholarships:
The King Scholars Program provides full funding for four years, which includes:
- Tuition fee waiver.
- Health insurance.
- A new computer in the first year.
- And annual travel between Dartmouth and the student’s home country.
Additionally, King Scholars receive continuous support throughout their time at Dartmouth. This includes a pre-orientation program to help them adapt to university life, as well as academic mentorship to guide them through their studies. Students also participate in the First Year Student Enrichment Program, which prepares them to tackle the academic and social challenges they may encounter during their first year.
Eligible Undergraduate Programs:
The King Scholars Program allows students to enroll in any Bachelor’s program at Dartmouth College. However, priority is given to disciplines that closely align with the program’s mission, particularly those focused on poverty alleviation and the development of leadership skills.
Application Process for the King Scholars Program:
All international applicants will be automatically considered for the King Scholars Program. Simply submit a complete application for admission to a Bachelor’s program of your choice to be considered.
Your application must be submitted by January 2, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
