Master Scholarships LABEX-GRAL-University Grenoble 2024

The LABEX-GRAL at Université de Grenoble Alpes, France, has announced a call for applications for six Master 2 (M2) scholarships. These scholarships will cover the academic year from September 2024 to June 2025, comprising four months of coursework followed by a six-month research internship. Each scholarship is valued at €5,500. The application deadline is May 20, 2024.

The LABEX-GRAL (Grenoble Alliance for Integrated Structural and Cellular Biology) is a research collaboration centered at Université Grenoble Alpes, focused on exploring the modulation of biological functions.

Scholarship Amount

The LABEX-GRAL scholarship is €5,500, paid in two installments: €4,000 in September and €1,500 in February. During the research internship, recipients will receive a monthly stipend of €600.

The GRAL scholarships at Université de Grenoble Alpes are available to students of any nationality, except those who have completed their bachelor’s degree in Grenoble.

Applying for Labex GRAL Scholarships at Université Grenoble Alpes

To be considered for a GRAL scholarship at Université Grenoble Alpes, applicants must first complete an application for one of the designated Master’s programs through the e-candidat portal. Subsequently, a consolidated PDF file should be submitted to labex-gral@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr (Email subject: M2-2024-first name) by May 14, 2023 (11:59 PM, CET).

The email submission should contain the following documents:

1. Cover Letter: Include details of the chosen Master’s program at Université Grenoble Alpes along with two preferred choices (in order of preference) for the six-month research internship project.

2. CV: Attach a comprehensive curriculum vitae outlining relevant academic and professional experiences.

3. Diplomas and Transcripts: Provide copies of diplomas and transcripts from the last two academic years. If these documents are not in French or English, they should be translated accordingly.

4. Language Proficiency: For applicants whose native language is not English, indicate proficiency level (e.g., TOEIC, Bulats) in English.

5. Letter of Recommendation: Include a letter of recommendation supporting the application.

6. E-candidat Portal Application Number If available, include the application number from the e-candidat portal.

The process of applying for and gaining admission to the second-year Master’s (M2) program at Université Grenoble Alpes is completely separate from the GRAL Scholarship application. Application deadlines may differ depending on the specific programs.
