About the Role
Maersk is actively seeking a dedicated DTS Landside & MCS Pricing Analyst to strengthen his team in Douala. This pivotal role is focused on profitability management, strategic pricing, and performance optimization, contributing directly to the growth and success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Profitability & Pricing Management
- Lead collaboration efforts with Sales, CX, and Operations teams to drive product growth.
- Oversee all pricing activities, including price setting in alignment with the Product Manager and ensuring compliance with global governance.
- Support the Product Manager in defining local value propositions and differentiators.
- Translate product strategy and margin guidelines into tailored offers and solutions for customers.
- Develop and launch new Landside and MCS product offerings in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Champion cost-saving initiatives and contribute to achieving operational efficiency.
- Provide coaching and training for commercial teams on Landside and MCS product knowledge.
- Actively engage in acquiring new business and ensuring customer retention.
Performance Management
- Optimize the performance of services and products across the country.
- Maximize revenue and EBIT through upselling opportunities and effective cost management.
- Foster collaboration within the global network to drive added value.
- Support the Product Manager in the introduction and implementation of new products (Go-Live processes).
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational and strategic outcomes.
Accountable Metrics
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Volume targets, revenue, EBIT, and margin performance.
- Cost-to-serve efficiency.
- Asset utilization rates.
- Customer pipeline growth and retention.
- Successful execution of product strategies across DTS countries.
