  • Position Title: Implementing Partnership Management Specialist

  • Location: Yaoundé, Cameroon, West and Central Africa Region (WCAR)

Job Summary:

As an Implementing Partnership Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting UNICEF’s efforts in managing partnerships effectively. Reporting directly to the Chief of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation, your main responsibility will be to provide both technical and administrative support. This will ensure the quality and efficiency of the management of implementing partnerships, in full alignment with UNICEF’s operational policies and procedures. You will also contribute to mainstreaming risk-based partnership management across the country office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of implementing partnerships in accordance with UNICEF’s operational guidelines.
  • Assist in risk-based implementation strategies to ensure partnerships are managed with transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of partnerships, ensuring resources are allocated and managed properly.

Qualifications for Advocating for Every Child
 
Minimum Requirements
 
Education: A master’s degree in one of the following fields is required: Development Studies, International Development, Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Auditing, Project/Programme Management, or another related technical field.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in areas such as programme development, financial management, or another related domain.
  • Experience working in a developing country is considered a plus.
  • Experience within a UN system agency or similar organization is also an asset.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of an additional official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language will be an asset.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in developing countries and/or familiarity with emergency contexts is highly valued.

UNICEF Recruitment Policy: Key Guidelines and Requirements
