PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is currently recruiting 1 manager as part of its operations in Cameroon.
About the Role
As a Manager in PwC’s Oracle Risk Assurance practice, you’ll play a key role in helping clients make the most of their technology investments, enhance operational efficiency, and manage risk effectively. You’ll support businesses as they navigate digital transformation, by applying strategic solutions and leveraging innovative technologies to optimize core operations and reduce vulnerabilities.
You’ll be part of a team that focuses on identifying and mitigating risks related to information systems, cybersecurity, data integrity, and compliance. Your work will involve aligning business goals with IT strategy, ensuring security, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager within the Risk Assurance Services (RAS) team, your role will include:

Business Development:
-
Identify opportunities for growth through research and outreach
-
Support the acquisition of new clients and engagements
-

Client Engagement & Advisory:
-
Advise clients on their technological and digital transformation
-
Evaluate and improve IT governance, risk management, and compliance processes
-
Conduct IT system audits supporting financial reporting and internal controls
-
Analyze and improve automated application controls, IT general controls (ITGCs), and data security
-
-
Compliance & Risk Management:
-
Assess alignment with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISAE 3402, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL)
-
Evaluate systems within sectors such as banking, insurance, and telecommunications
-
Ensure proper controls in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, JDE, Flexcube, Finacle, and others
-
Review data migration, conversion, and development projects
-

Team Leadership:
-
Manage and mentor multidisciplinary audit teams
-
Lead by example to foster a culture of learning and growth
-
Provide training, feedback, and support to junior team members
-

Project Management:
-
Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets
-
Ensure timely and quality execution of engagements
-
Maintain strong internal collaboration across PwC teams
-

Client Relationship Management:
-
Build lasting, trust-based relationships with clients
-
Provide insights and solutions that enhance internal controls, audit processes, and system resilience

Education and Professional Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate who meets the following criteria:
-
Holds a Master’s degree from a Business School, Engineering School, or equivalent (postgraduate university degree) in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Management Control.

Has 5 to 10 years of professional experience in an audit or consulting firm, preferably within one of the Big Four.

Possesses recognized professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, CFA, or FRM.

Is fluent in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Core Skills and Expertise

Strong understanding of banking and business support processes, and risk management frameworks.

Expertise in:

Risk modeling, data analysis, and credit risk assessment
-
IFRS 9 compliance, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling, and capital management
-
Basel regulatory framework and reforms
-
Credit portfolio management, stress testing, loan pricing, and ICAAP
-
Model validation and credit limit setting
-
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and statistical software such as Python, R, or SAS.
Preferred Knowledge Areas
-
Familiarity with advanced modeling techniques and machine learning (e.g., gradient boosting, neural networks).

Understanding of ESG, climate risk, and sustainability strategies.

Knowledge of operational risk management practices.
