Job Opportunity: Software Engineers & Data Scientists at ANTIC

The National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies (ANTIC) is currently recruiting four (04) specialists in Software Engineering or Data Science. Applicants must hold at least a Higher Education Diploma in one of these domains.

Position Titles

• Software Developer

• Data Scientist – Number of vacancies: 4

• Contract type: Permanent (unspecified duration)

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient software applications

• Translate user requirements into detailed technical specifications

• Perform software testing, documentation, and continuous development

• Ensure the security, quality, and interoperability of developed solutions

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources

• Build predictive models and create data visualizations to support business decision-making

• Integrate data-driven solutions into organizational projects

• Maintain compliance with data protection standards and ensure data security

Candidate Profile

Applicants must:

• Hold a Higher Education Diploma in Software Engineering or Data Science

• Show initiative, analytical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Possess solid programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, PHP, JavaScript, C#, Bash, Go, etc.

• Be proficient in SQL and NoSQL database systems

• Have a good grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies

• Knowledge in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence will be considered a strong asset
