Job Opportunities in Cameroon
Shwari Health Cameroon is a locally registered organization committed to delivering high-quality, effective, and innovative, evidence-based solutions to address challenges within the health system in Cameroon and beyond, with a special focus on children and adolescents.
To fulfill its vision, Shwari Health Cameroon employs proven community-based strategies to identify HIV-infected children and adolescents, link them to health facilities for treatment initiation, and provide continuous support to ensure they remain in care and achieve viral suppression.
Our mission is to become one of the most respected implementation science organizations in Cameroon, bridging the “Know-Do” gap in health service delivery through evidence-based strategies. We aim to achieve this by applying modern methods for evidence generation and synthesis to understand operational contexts and design more effective and efficient implementation strategies.
In partnership with Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) and the Government of Cameroon’s Regional Technical Groups (RTGs), SHWARI Health Association will implement the SAFECARE-Cameroon project. This is a 5-year CDC/PEPFAR-funded initiative aiming to develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive HIV services in health facilities and communities for children, adolescents, and adults across PEPFAR-supported regions of Cameroon. The project supports Cameroon’s efforts to accelerate progress toward HIV epidemic control.
SHWARI Health Association Cameroon (SHAC) is therefore seeking qualified candidates for the following implementation roles. All applicants must be fluent in French with at least working knowledge of English. Positions are based in Yaoundé or Bertoua.
