- Position: Service Supervisor EBS, Facilities & Realty
- Job Level: 4 / Job Grade: 3C
- Location: Douala (with national territory coverage)
I. JOB PURPOSE
- Manage and implement EBS policy guidance on Facilities & Realty, property projects, and refurbishments.
- Implement best practice policies and procedures for Facilities & Realty Services.
- Ensure efficient acquisition, disposal, and proactive estate management of all affiliate Ecobank buildings.
- Manage rentals, ratings, valuations, and landlord-related issues.
- Provide guidance on refurbishments to ensure all buildings are structurally sound and safe for operations.
- Manage building projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure high professionalism and ethical dealings with contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Deliver fit-out, upgrades, and refurbishments of buildings.
- Ensure consistent image and brand implementation.
- Maintain accurate base building drawings and occupancy data.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning & Financial Management
- Assist Group Manager – Realty Services and Head of EBS to develop a 3-year property plan for affiliates.
- Deliver cost-effective projects aligned with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and advise management/stakeholders.
- Manage project finance, cash flow, and financial controls.
- Liaise with Finance to capitalize project expenses for timely depreciation.
- Budgeting and expenditure monitoring to meet financial targets.
2. Project & Contract Management
- Proactively manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate project team members and contractors.
- Ensure accountability and performance delivery of assigned work.
- Manage project scope changes and develop contingency plans.
- Deliver refurbishments and upgrades within scope, time, and budget.
3. Property & Facilities Management
- Manage lease renewals and rent escalations.
- Maintain and update property database for the affiliate.
- Ensure all Ecobank buildings are safe for occupation.
- Manage planned and unplanned maintenance of equipment (generators, HVAC, etc.).
- Optimize GE fuel consumption and building operations efficiency.
- Monitor insurance and asset management activities.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Provide accurate data on statutory obligations.
- Liaise with statutory bodies and government agencies for compliance.
- Identify and mitigate operational and property-related risks.
- Provide risk assessment and action plans for Ecobank properties.
5. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong tenant–landlord relationships.
- Ensure timely reporting on leases, valuations, and property costs.
- Advise management on property-related risks and mitigation measures.
6. Performance & Efficiency Improvement
- Identify and track EBS cost-saving opportunities.
- Improve building utilization and occupancy efficiency.
- Ensure accurate property, occupancy, and lease reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Property Discipline (preferably Architecture or Building Technology).
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Professional affiliation to a recognized body is an advantage.
- MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

III. Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end deployment of digital banking products, features, and upgrades
- Coordinate with technology teams, vendors, and global product owners for successful rollout and stabilization
- Drive testing activities (UAT, SIT) ensuring compliance with business and regulatory standards
2. Technical Support & Issue Resolution
- Oversee Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for:
- Mobile Banking
- Internet Banking
- USSD
- Agency Banking
- APIs
- Cards/Payments systems
- Monitor platform performance and ensure timely resolution of incidents and system downtime
- Liaise with Group Technology and external partners for escalations
3. Financial Metrics
- Ensure value for money in all projects
- Deliver measurable financial impact contributing to:
- Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Balance Sheet
- Drive Straight-Through Processing (SFP) strategy:
- Ensure at least 95% of customer interactions are fully digital and automated
- Improve efficiency and increase system-based transaction income
4. Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze user feedback and performance data to recommend enhancements
- Drive automation and service reliability improvements
- Optimize digital processes and workflows
- Promote customer adoption of digital banking channels

Required Qualifications

Recruitment Notice – Information Systems Controller
Job Level: 5 | Job Grade: 3B Location: Douala (with readiness to work across the national territory)
I. Job Purpose
Support the bank’s business and systems risk and control coverage through continuous monitoring of Information Security controls with relevant stakeholders, in order to mitigate risks inherent within systems.
II. Job Context
This position supports the Head of Risks and Internal Control. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to translate internal control requirements into practical business applications and solutions that support growth and strategic initiatives.
III. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk-oriented controls on the information system.
- Perform controls over fintech activities, digital payments, and data flows.
- Implement controls to detect revenue leakage and propose corrective action plans.
- Analyse and assess risks associated with new products and services.
- Analyse alerts from anti-fraud tools and operational losses linked to the information system.
- Manage user profiles across banking and business applications.
- Support automation needs of other controllers.
- Monitor and report IT risks identified through control activities.
- Perform ad-hoc controls on critical business applications and processes.
- Ensure ongoing controls in line with the IT control plan.
- Periodically assess IT risks across bank activities.
- Review critical system logs and activity logs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Group Information Systems Control Head and the Head of Risk and Internal Control.
- Report control findings and corrective action recommendations to General Management.
IV. Job Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Internal Control, Information Technology, or Internal Audit in a commercial bank or audit firm.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology or equivalent).
Skills, Capabilities & Personal Attributes
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Extensive working knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language).
- Familiarity with core banking systems, especially FLEXCUBE.
- Good understanding of banking operations and accounting (PCEC in the CEMAC zone is an advantage).
