University of Milan Excellence Scholarships 2025

Applications are now open for the University of Milan Excellence Scholarships, for the 2025/2026 academic year. This prestigious program aims to attract outstanding international students wishing to enroll in a Master’s degree, in any field of study, at this renowned institution. The application deadline is May 31, 2025.

Founded in 1924, the University of Milan, also known as “La Statale”, is a multidisciplinary public university located in the heart of Milan, Italy’s capital of innovation, culture, and design. Scholarship Amount and Distribution – Academic Year 2025/2026

The University of Milan will award a total of 160 Excellence Scholarships to the most deserving international students admitted to a Master’s program. These scholarships will be allocated as follows:

  • 60 scholarships of €8,000 each, along with a full tuition fee waiver

  • 100 full tuition waivers, without direct financial support

  • and their potential to contribute to the university community.

Eligibility Requirements for the University of Milan Scholarships

To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) or equivalent,

  • Meet the specific eligibility criteria of the chosen Master’s program,

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction of the program: English or Italian, as applicable.

How to Apply for the University of Milan Scholarships

Scholarship candidates are selected from among the students who have submitted a complete application to a Master’s programbefore the deadline of May 31, 2025.

Required Documents to Apply to the University of Milan (UNIMI)

All documents must be written in English or Italian. If a document is in a language other than English or Korean, an official translation into English or Italian is required. This translation must be issued either by the institution or a notary.

The following documents are mandatory for your application file:

  • Completed application form, submitted online via the portal: https://registrazione.unimi.it/

  • Certified copies of obtained diplomas and transcripts

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • Official language proficiency certificate (in English or Italian)

  • Valid copy of your passport
