The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including:
- Leading and motivating our exceptional team

Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Oversee and drive the overall hotel operations to achieve exceptional results.
- Maximize hotel profitability through strategic revenue management, ensuring guest satisfaction and team member engagement exceed expectations.
- Spearhead key property initiatives, including capital projects, customer service enhancements, and renovations.
- Make informed decisions that align with the best interests of both the hotel and Hilton.
- Develop and execute achievable budgets, setting clear short- and long-term strategic goals for the property.
- Inspire and empower hotel team members through exceptional leadership, embodying Hilton’s culture and values.
- Lead comprehensive business planning efforts, driving innovation and growth.
- Exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards, ensuring an unparalleled guest experience.
- Implement effective cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
- Nurture the professional development of the Hotel Executive team, fostering career progression and robust succession planning within Hilton.
- Facilitate regular communication and collaboration through briefings and meetings with the HOD team.
- Actively respond to audits, driving continuous improvement across all areas of operation.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven leadership expertise within a similar high-quality hotel, with a strong emphasis on owner relations, commercial acumen, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement.
- Enthusiasm and passion for the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in French, with established experience as a General Manager in a comparable hotel environment.
- A collaborative approach, adept at building and nurturing strong relationships with owners, corporate partners, and government stakeholders.
- A track record of driving innovative commercial strategies and increasing profitability, particularly within the Corporate business segment.
- Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a strong Hilton culture.
- Expertise in building and maintaining positive stakeholder/owner relationships.
- Resilience, sound judgment, and effective leadership in challenging situations.
- Experience in managing budgets, crafting revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar-sized property.
- Preference for candidates with experience in hotel renovations.
- A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualifications.
- Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
