Job Description: Field Supervisor
Global Health Systems Solutions (GHSS) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to developing innovative solutions that strengthen health systems in developing countries. Our mission is to improve service delivery and enhance disease surveillance for both infectious and non-infectious diseases, including neglected tropical diseases. GHSS focuses on three key areas:
- Strengthening laboratory systems and services for effective disease management, surveillance, and prevention.
- Improving field surveillance and epidemiological training in both human and animal health to mitigate disease threats.
- Enhancing service delivery across all levels of the health system.
Our primary collaborators include Ministries of Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Africa Centers for Disease Control, Mastercard Foundation, and various other bilateral organizations.
Purpose of the Role
To support GHSS’s ongoing efforts to empower vulnerable populations economically and educationally, we are seeking highly qualified and experienced Field Supervisors. These individuals will conduct regular field visits to monitor and assess the effective implementation of our program. This role is critical for ensuring the program’s success and sustainability.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, international development, education, economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in educational and economic empowerment activities.
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Experience working with vulnerable and displaced populations.
