UAS International Trip Support is actively seeking a highly committed and results-oriented Station Manager to join their dynamic team.
Operations
- Efficiently manage and coordinate client requests, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and established company protocols outlined in the Operations Manual (OM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Thoroughly assess regulatory and permit requirements, secure slots, Prior Permission Required (PPR) clearances, overflight and handling permissions, and orchestrate all other flight operations activities.
- Collaborate effectively with Handlers, Fixed-Base Operators (FBOs), and external vendors to guarantee seamless handling of client flights.
- Prepare and submit flight plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and requirements.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding operational requirements and diligently follow up on flight movement reports.
- Utilize the comprehensive resources available in the Operations Library, including Aeronautical Information Publications (AIP & AIC) circulars, Air Navigation Orders and Regulations (ANO), Company Operations Manuals, Operational Notifications, and the Quality Assurance Manual, to consistently deliver high-quality services.
- Oversee local flights and demonstrate flexibility to relocate to other Southern African airports or as dictated by the operational needs of the company across different geographical locations.
- Establish, cultivate, and nurture vital relationships between the organization and local authorities, as well as airport companies, throughout the assigned territory.
Vendor Relations

Cultivate, expand, and maintain a robust international vendor network.

Forge, foster, and sustain key relationships between the organization and vendors throughout the assigned territory, ensuring optimal service and cost-effectiveness for the company’s customers while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.

Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate mutually beneficial contract agreements with vendors.

Proactively identify and engage reputable vendors who demonstrate exceptional service standards and consistently deliver outstanding service to the company’s customers, thereby strengthening the organization’s vendor network.

Identify suitable contractors who can effectively represent the company at international airport locations.

Work in tandem with procurement to negotiate discounted cost structures for vendor services, incorporating the company’s rebate program into the negotiation process.

Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing analyses to ensure vendors consistently adhere to the company’s core principles and maintain appropriate protocols at all times.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of vendor information within the company’s database.

Establish and uphold standardized vendor service quality expectations as defined by the company.

Develop and implement a vendor relationship program that proactively identifies and capitalizes on mutually beneficial opportunities between vendors and the company.

Collaborate closely with the company’s software systems as they evolve internationally, introducing vendors to relevant ground handling services where applicable.
