JOB DESCRIPTION

The Recruitment, Onboarding, and Talent Management Manager play a crucial role in supporting all recruitment activities, from posting job requisitions to coordinating interviews, assessments, background checks, and generating offers for new hires. This position requires a strong customer service orientation, as well as knowledge of Human Resource processes and related systems. The manager serves as a liaison between candidates, employees, and external vendors as needed.

Additionally, the manager is responsible for overseeing the performance management process, including goal setting at the beginning of the year, conducting appraisals, and facilitating performance calibration at the end of the year. They also oversee learning initiatives within the organization, ensuring that all employees receive relevant training as per their requirements. The manager may be assigned other duties by the head of HR.

As an individual contributor, the Recruitment, Onboarding, and Talent Management Manager reports to the Manager of HR Operations. They maintain close collaboration with the Group Human Resources team as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Deliverables

The Manager Recruitment, Onboarding & Talent Management will be responsible for achieving the following objectives:

1. Strategy Implementation

  • Adhere to and execute the functional strategy provided by the functional lead.
  • Assist in reviewing the functional strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with the functional lead, to ensure alignment with the changing dynamics of the internal and external ecosystem.

2. Governance

Strategic Meetings

  • Participate in strategic meetings as required.
  • Execute organization-wide transformation initiatives when directed by the functional lead.
  • Implement appropriate risk mitigation measures and controls under the guidance of the functional lead.
  • Assist in evaluating the baseline of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing proposals for change initiatives, SLAs, policies, and procedures as needed.

Escalations

  • Escalate issues that may have a significant impact on time, scope, productivity, cost, or resources to the functional lead.

Function Tactical

1. Execute projects initiated in the specific sub-function

  • Take charge of implementing projects initiated within the designated sub-function.

2. Abide by the established objectives, targets, and budgets for the sub-function when required

  • Adhere to the predetermined objectives, targets, and budgets for the sub-function as necessary.

3. Document identified key risks, issues, and dependencies and set mitigation actions with guidance from the functional lead

  • Identify and document key risks, issues, and dependencies associated with the sub-function’s activities. Establish mitigation actions under the guidance of the functional lead.

4. Prepare documentation required for sign-off on tactical changes

  • Prepare the necessary documentation for obtaining sign-off on any tactical changes implemented within the sub-function.

Performance

1. Ensure execution in alignment with divisional strategy

  • Ensure that all activities and initiatives within the sub-function are executed in alignment with the overall strategy of the division.

Reporting

1. Report on a daily basis to the functional lead relating to progress made within the work area and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization

  • Provide daily reports to the functional lead regarding the progress made within the work area, following the measurement metrics established by the organization.

2. Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects, as required

  • Provide ad hoc reports on specific projects as needed.

Budgets

1. Abide by the function’s budgets in line with business objectives

  • Adhere to the allocated budgets for the sub-function in accordance with the organization’s business objectives.

2. Abide by project initiative budgets in line with business objectives

  • Adhere to the assigned budgets for project initiatives in line with the organization’s business objectives.

Operational Delivery

The role is accountable for the following work area outcomes:

Strategy & Analytics, Budgeting, Data, and Reporting

1. Execute policies, procedures, and guidelines cascaded by the functional lead and ensure compliance with the same

  • Implement the policies, procedures, and guidelines provided by the functional lead and ensure compliance throughout the sub-function.

2. Comply with the set governance mechanisms under supervision from the functional lead

  • Comply with the established governance mechanisms while working under the supervision of the functional lead.

3. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Recruitment & Onboarding strategies and propose suggestions for improvements

  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Recruitment & Onboarding strategies. Offer suggestions for improvements to enhance their outcomes.
