The British Security Services Company G4S Security Services is currently recruiting in Cameroon 01 Human Resources Manager 

Location: YaoundĂ©, Center Region, Cameroon

Role Responsibility: 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Officer provides generalist Human Resources support services within the region, in compliance with legislation and Company policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with corporate policies and applicable Regional, Municipal and local laws.

Major Responsibilities, but not limited to:

    • Effective performance of Labour relations function in relation to disciplinary matter
    • Ensure compliance with Company policy and ensure effective reporting
  • Effective performance of HR recruitment administration and functions
  • Compliance with PSIRA Regulations and processes
  • Support/lead HR projects.
  • Ensure Screening is conducted in accordance with established policy and in a cost- effective manner.
  • Ensure all human resources activities are in compliance with corporate governance.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

The Ideal Candidate:

Formal Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • University Degree in Business or a related field. A Diploma will be considered in combination with extensive (5+) years of directly related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, dealing with a unionized workforce.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience is an asset.
  • Designation as a Corporate HR is an asset.
  • Meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements.

Other Related Attributes That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration:

  • Proficiency with the Google suite of Applications.
  • Experience dealing with multiple unions among the same workforce.
  • Experience/certification in Training/Facilitation.
