The Infrastructure Practice Group (INF) at the World Bank leads efforts to close these gaps. With four specialized Global Practices—Energy & Extractives (EEX), Transport, Urban, Resilience and Land (URL), and Infrastructure Finance Practice (IFP)—the INF works on sustainable, innovative infrastructure solutions for developing economies.
The World Bank’s infrastructure portfolio, valued at approximately $110 billion, focuses on:
- Promoting low-carbon transportation.
- Building livable, resilient cities.
- Addressing disaster risk management.
- Strengthening public-private partnerships for infrastructure development.
