Role Overview
The Engineer – Quality Assurance and Testing will be responsible for ensuring that software products meet design requirements and adhere to defined quality standards. The role will involve designing quality processes, selecting appropriate testing tools, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure effective product performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure developed solutions align with design specifications and comply with Total Quality Management (TQM) standards.

Define and implement quality assurance procedures in collaboration with operational teams to support both technical and business requirements.

Select appropriate load and performance testing tools and coordinate with IS Enterprise Support for operational readiness and maintenance planning.

Communicate effectively with developers, operations teams, and architects to address product issues.

Work cross-functionally within a large organizational structure to manage multiple concurrent tasks with contributions from diverse teams.

Maintain and regularly update the Quality and Performance Testing strategy.
-
Identify, assess, and report risks or issues using technical expertise and root cause analysis techniques.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
-
Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
-
Certifications in Project Management, ITIL (mandatory), and other relevant Testing certifications.
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, including:
-
At least 1 year of testing experience in Mobile Telecommunications.
-
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in test automation.
-
At least 1 year of experience in Performance Testing using specialized tools.

Technical Skills & Knowledge
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong understanding of Network and Internet Protocols

Familiarity with Web Technologies

Programming knowledge: Java, XML, PowerBuilder, .NET, Unix scripting

Solid understanding of GSM technology
-
Database experience: Oracle, Access
-
Proficiency in PL/SQL
-
Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows NT and UNIX

Knowledge of Mobile Technologies
