1 – FFA Field Monitor

Job Opportunity: FFA Field Monitor – Cash-Based Transfer Activities

Duty Station: Bamenda

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term

Duration of Employment Contract: 11 months

Main Objective and Tasks:

The FFA Field Monitor is responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of all cash-based transfer activities under the supervision of the FFA Supervisor. They will ensure that activities are delivered in a timely manner and compliant with donor and INTERSOS policies and requirements. Additionally, they will supervise community volunteers and manage interactions with community-level stakeholders.

Community Mobilization:

  • Explain and ensure the positive acceptance of INTERSOS’ activities, building relationships with community volunteers and members of different committees involved in food distribution activities.
  • Facilitate smooth briefings for community volunteers and supervise their work.
  • Explain to the community their roles and participation in the project implementation strategy, accountability, and compliance with humanitarian principles.
  • Collaborate with the Protection & Gender Officer to conduct sensitization campaigns and ensure operations are inclusive of gender, disability, and vulnerabilities.
  • Relay issues and concerns raised by community stakeholders.

2- CBT Field Monitor

Duty Station: Buea

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term

Duration of Employment Contract: 12 months

Main Objective and Tasks:

The Field Monitor is responsible for overseeing the smooth implementation of all CBT assistance-related activities under the supervision of the Project Manager. They will ensure that activities are delivered in a timely manner and compliant with donor and INTERSOS policies and requirements. Additionally, they will supervise community volunteers/mobilizers and manage interactions with community-level stakeholders.

Community Mobilization:

  • Explain and ensure the acceptance of INTERSOS’ activities, building positive relationships with community volunteers/mobilizers and members of different committees involved in project activities.
  • Ensure community volunteers/mobilizers are properly informed and supervise their work.
  • Conduct proper community mobilization and sensitization with community members within the implementation area, ensuring operations are inclusive of gender, disability, and other vulnerability criteria.
  • Relay issues and concerns raised by community stakeholders to the Project Manager.

J3- GFD Project Manager

Duty Station: Bamenda

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term

Duration of Employment Contract: 11 months

Tasks:

External Representation and Coordination:

  • Ensure the acceptance of INTERSOS’ activities and build positive relationships with all project stakeholders in the intervention areas.
  • Maintain regular and active presence at technical and general meetings in all localities and coordination hubs where the project is implemented.
  • Ensure the collection and quality of shared information.
  • Build and maintain good relations with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective, fluid, and timely communication with WFP staff regarding field operations.

4- FFA Field Supervisor

Duty Station: Bamenda

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term

Duration of Employment Contract: 11 months

Main Objective and Tasks:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the FFA Field Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the organization and implementation of all activities related to the implementation of subsistence activities through the “Food for Asset” modality in their assigned department. They will ensure that the training and capacity building needs of field staff are addressed in a timely manner and that activities meet quality standards in the sector.

Coordination and External Representation:

  • Ensure the acceptance of various INTERSOS activities and build good relationships with all project stakeholders in the intervention areas under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Attend technical and general meetings at the local level regularly and actively in all localities where the project is implemented, under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Collect and share quality information under the control of the Project Manager.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication with WFP staff on field operations, following the communication chart and under the supervision of the Project Manager.
