Job Opportunity: Manager Enterprise & Facilities Projects

Role Overview

The Manager, Enterprise & Facilities Projects (Technology) is responsible for providing strategic direction and operational leadership for project delivery within the sub-division. The role ensures alignment with divisional objectives while driving effective execution, governance, and performance across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Contribute to the development of the sub-division’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with broader divisional and organizational priorities
• Translate strategy into actionable business plans, providing structure, guidance, and operational support for successful implementation
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and promote best practices in project execution

Strategy Execution

• Drive the rollout of strategic initiatives within the sub-division, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of objectives
• Monitor progress against defined targets and adjust plans where necessary to maintain performance and alignment

Team Leadership & People Management

• Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage talent in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational standards
• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for team members
• Establish KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations with structured feedback mechanisms
• Foster a culture of continuous learning by designing and implementing targeted training and development programs
• Support change management initiatives and maintain open, transparent communication across teams
• Actively contribute to leadership forums and promote collaboration across departments
• Encourage cross-functional teamwork and reinforce a partnership-oriented, MTN-centric culture

Operational & Project Oversight

• Lead and coordinate internal and cross-functional project teams to ensure delivery against deadlines and objectives
• Facilitate key project meetings and provide technical or specialist input when required
• Review performance dashboards and key metrics to track project and team effectiveness
• Ensure accountability for deliverables, prioritization, and resource allocation across projects

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (at least 3 years of study) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered an added advantage

Language

• Fluency in the official language of the country is required
• Basic proficiency in English is required
