About the Role
Afriland First Bank is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a DevSecOps Engineer at Afriland First Bank, you will be a key driver in shaping the future of our software delivery. You’ll collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tools that power our applications. Your focus will be on creating a secure, efficient, and scalable environment that accelerates our innovation while protecting our critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers to deploy and manage applications and systems.
- Automate and optimize the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from code to production.
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Identify and implement enhancements to infrastructure and system architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Enforce security best practices throughout the software delivery process.
- Ensure high availability and performance of production systems.
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, etc.).
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of network, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.

Votre Mission Essentielle
En tant qu’Ingénieur DevSecOps, vous serez au cœur de la transformation numérique d’Afriland First Bank. Compétences et Qualifications Requises
- Formation Académique: Un diplôme de niveau BAC+4 minimum en Informatique est requis pour ce poste.
- Expérience Professionnelle: Une expérience d’un à deux ans dans le domaine du DevOps est essentielle.
- Expertise Technique: Une solide maîtrise des plateformes cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), des outils de gestion de configuration (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), des langages de script (Python, Bash, PowerShell), des technologies de conteneurisation (Docker, Kubernetes) et des outils CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI) est indispensable.
- Compétences Essentielles: Vous devez posséder une compréhension approfondie des systèmes de contrôle de version (Git), des outils de surveillance et de journalisation (Prometheus, pile ELK), des meilleures pratiques en matière de réseau, de sécurité et d’infrastructure, ainsi que d’excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en collaboration.

Outre vos compétences techniques, nous recherchons des candidats dotés d’un esprit de synthèse et d’analyse, méthodiques, disponibles, capables de travailler sous pression, discrets, intègres, ouverts d’esprit, et possédant une maîtrise et une confiance en soi exemplaires.
Atouts Supplémentaires
Les certifications pertinentes (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), etc.), l’expérience avec les outils d’infrastructure en tant que code (IaC) tels que Terraform ou CloudFormation, la connaissance de l’architecture des microservices, la familiarité avec les méthodologies Agile et DevOps, et une expérience préalable dans le secteur bancaire seront considérées comme des atouts majeurs.
