Job Objectives
The primary goal is to ensure smooth processing and high-quality service delivery in credit availment, while strictly adhering to the bank’s credit policies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the Credit Availment and Loan Disbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Ensure that all approved credit facilities, meeting required terms and conditions, are processed without delay.
- Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring the cleanup of all open items.
- Guarantee the collection of all bank interest and fee income.
- Ensure that Bank Cheques are issued as required by credit availment instructions.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with internal customers, external partners, and regulatory bodies, including COBAC, BEAC, and external auditors.
- Respond promptly to correspondence and inquiries.
- Address and resolve challenges to enhance service delivery.
- Organize internal and external training programs to equip staff with the necessary skills for superior performance.
- Develop a team of multi-disciplinary staff to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Authorize completed processes and transactions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Customer Satisfaction through prompt and efficient service delivery across various products.
- Error-Free Processing of all transactions.
- High-quality General Ledger (GL) management and accurate account reconciliation.
- Ongoing improvement in staff capabilities through training and development.
Educational Requirements
- A first degree is mandatory, with additional qualifications such as an MBA, MSc, MA, ML, or relevant professional certifications.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant banking experience, or 3 years of related experience in a non-banking environment.

- In-depth understanding of Banking Operations and Credit Products.
- Strong Industry Knowledge and familiarity with relevant Regulatory Circulars.
