Job Opportunity: Communications Manager at Cameroon Airports Company (ADC SA)
  • Position: Communications Manager

1. Main Objective

The Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing ADC SA’s internal and external communication strategies. This position is focused on enhancing the company’s brand image, visibility, and maintaining consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms. The Communications Manager will also strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including institutions, partners, media, and the public.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive communication plan aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the design and production of communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, activity reports, and press releases.
  • Digital Communication Management: Manage the company’s website, social media presence, and online communication campaigns to boost digital engagement.
  • Event Organization: Plan and coordinate institutional events, including press conferences, seminars, trade fairs, and forums.
  • Media and Public Relations: Build and maintain strong media relations and handle public relations activities.
  • Brand Monitoring: Track the company’s public image in the media and propose corrective measures when necessary.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication strategies and advise senior management on reputation management.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective information dissemination.

3. Required Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s (A’ levels +3) to Master’s (A’ levels +5) in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Information Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the transport, aviation sector, or in a large public/private organization.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in communication techniques and public relations.
  • Proficient in digital communication tools and social media management.
  • Exceptional writing skills for press releases, speeches, reports, and articles.
  • Knowledge of the aeronautics sector and its dynamics (an asset).
  • Familiarity with graphic design and content management tools (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, etc.) (an asset).

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)

Mission: Ensuring Equipment Performance and Reliability

The Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of technical equipment at Cameroon’s airports. The successful candidate will lead efforts in planning, executing, and optimizing preventive and corrective maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify breakdowns, propose effective solutions, and enhance equipment availability.
