JOB SUMMARY

Nestlé Cameroon is currently seeking a QMS Coordinator to join our team at the Douala Factory. Responsibilities include ensuring the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and updates of the NMS-Nestlé Management System in the factory, as well as providing support to other champions within the Tropical Cluster.

Your Other Responsibilities

  1. Identify the necessary resources required for running the NMS/FSSC 22000 and verify their availability.
  2. Organize training sessions and conduct internal audits for all internal auditors to ensure compliance.
  3. Drive cost-saving initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and reducing costs.
  4. Ensure alignment of NMS/FSSC 22000 implementation, and facilitate the collection and sharing of learnings and best practices.
  5. Coordinate the planning and execution of updates to production quality monitoring schemes, ensuring their verification.
  6. Define measures and participate in target setting to monitor compliance with quality system requirements at the site.
  7. Conduct internal audits and seek quality improvement opportunities throughout the value chain, including maintaining an up-to-date quality documentation system.
  8. Collaborate with NMS Internal Auditors to identify and close gaps, enhancing the effectiveness of quality systems.
  9. Provide support to NMS Internal Auditors to overcome obstacles hindering project implementation.

What Makes You Successful?

  1. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or equivalent, preferably in food sciences, chemistry, food processing, or quality management engineering.
  2. A Master’s degree would be advantageous.
  3. Proficiency in both French and English languages, both written and oral.
  4. Good knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, and HALAL standards.
  5. Strong IT skills with a willingness to embrace digitalization.
  6. Ability to work well in a team and manage projects effectively.
